NPPA obtained the site permit for the spent nuclear fuel storage facility.

NPPA is pleased to announce obtaining the site permit for the facility will be used for a dry storage of spent nuclear fuel from El-Dabaa NPP over its lifetime (60 years). The permit represents an outstanding and important milestone in the course of El-Dabaa nuclear power project.

It is worth to mention that the permit was granted by ENRRA board of directors on Monday 28 of February 2022 upon NPPA fulfilling technical comments on the Environmental Impact Assessment and the Site Evaluation Reports.
